Hi my name is Phil Smith and I've been in dentistry for over four decades. It seems dentistry, like so many other industries is ever changing and growing at a faster pace. I was quick to jump on the pressable ceramic revolution in the 90's. A beautiful smile can be life changing. Pressable ceramics was a game changer. With new and advanced ceramics we were able to create the most beautuful and strong all ceramic bondable restorations. This led to smile design makeovers and full mouth reconstructions. This period was accompanied with many training seminars and conferences, including learning at LVI and under Lee Culp.
Today the revolution continues with digital dentistry. I am currently a Sirona Inlab. This brings me into the Cerec family with the digital connect software. I am an all ceramic digital milling lab with work milled in lab, quickly, accurately and at competative prices. What used to take days can now be accomplished in hours.
One material I work with is emax, the worlds most popular lithium disilicate ceramic, strong and esthetic. Emax is bondable or conventionally cementable.

I also work with zirconia, the highest strength all ceramic hybred material on the market. Zirconia is sometimes called the white metal. These materials are strong (up to 1100 MPa) esthetic and non allergenic. Zirconia is only conventionally cementable.
These materials combined with Sironas state of the art digital milling technology create an exciting new world of dentristry to meet various desing and strength needs with impressive esthetics.
Oregon Dental Design had the privilege of participating in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Give Back a Smile program in 2017. A new smile can change a life.
I'd like to be on your team!
Let me show you what I can do.
